All eyes are on Kawhi Leonard right now as the two-time NBA Finals MVP is expected to test the free agent market this offseason. However, just because the two-time NBA champion is expected to opt out of his player option it doesn’t mean he’s leaving town.
On Monday, 6-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen weighed in on what he thinks Leonard should do this offseason and it’s an answer that every Raptors fan will appreciate.
The 7-time NBA All-Star said that if he was Kawhi Leonard the one-year deal with Toronto would be the best way to go since all the contracts from other teams around the league will be there the following summer if the Raptors fail to repeat.
