It’s been a pretty busy season for Scott Wedgewood. After spending most of the past five seasons playing in the AHL with the Albany (now Binghamton) Devils, the 25-year-old was dealt to the Arizona Coyotes at the beginning of the season. Despite appearing in 20 games for the ‘Yotes, the Brampton, Ontario native was traded again, this time to the Los Angeles Kings as part of a trade deadline deal.

Now a member of the Kings organization, Wedgewood decided to get a brand new mask to go along with his new threads and he paid tribute to his favourite actors in the process.

Designed by David Gunnarsson, the mask includes a shout-out to Chris Pratt, Neil Patrick Harris and Ryan Reynolds on the left side, while the right side includes shout-outs to Will Ferrell, Stan Lee and Adam Sandler.

It was so exciting to paint and create Scott Wedgewood’s new Los Angeles Kings mask👑🎨. It is a mix of a clean logo based design and Storytelling📕. On a distance it is a clean cut design with a light base, very much inspired from the uniform. A design which live and breath Los Angeles Kings👑. When you come closer the storytelling kicks in with extreme detail work🔍👀. Scott had an idea how he wanted to pay tribute to his favorite Hollywood actors on the mask, with stars with the names of the actors⭐️. We came up with a cool design plan and I picked up the airbrush guns and started to paint🚀👊🏻 @wedgewall @lakings @nhl @daveart #DaveArtTheCradleOfCreativity @ontarioreignhockey @theahl #DaveArtTheStoryteller

You might as well dedicate your mask to your favourite celebrites when you’re playing right down the street from Hollywood.
