Closing off Black History Month strong, we see.
The San Jose Sharks are holding their annual Marvel Night on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, and they’ve decided to rebrand on social media for the occasion with a spiffy new logo featuring Black Panther.
Their Twitter bio now reads, “We play on the ice but we never freeze.” We see what you did there!
Unfortunately, there aren’t any shark-inspired or aquatic characters from the Marvel movie catalogue for the Sharks to pull from. (At least until Namor hits the big screen.)
Fans at the game will also pick up a spiffy bobblehead featuring Evander Kane in the Black Panther suit, with the Wakanda Forever salute and all.
