While the Vikings sprinted off the field with pure joy and excitement on Sunday, the Saints left Minneosta in confusion and despair, asking themselves, "what happened?"
What had happened was the first walk-off touchdown in NFL Playoff history, with the Vikings grabbing victory out of the jaws of defeat thanks to a spectacular 61-yard catch by Stefon Diggs. But for that incredible catch to happen, Saints rookie safety Marcus Williams had to commit a terrible blunder.
Monday, Williams finally broke his silence, taking to Twitter to thank his family, friends and fans for showing their support after a difficult end to the season, stating that he wouldn't allow "one play" to define who he is.
Mistakes happen, and unfortunately for Williams it came at pretty much the worst time. But it's never really one single play that decides a game. So it's good to see that Williams is already moving on from it.
