Ryan O’Reilly has cemented himself as one of the best all-around hockey dudes in the league.
Between the hosting of a full minor hockey team at a game, the guitar giveaways, and the accidental swearing and subsequent apology following a Stanley Cup win, O’Reilly is definitely one of the uncontested biggest beauties the NHL has to offer.
Tonight, when the St. Louis Blues were honored at the ESPYS for the Best Comeback, O’Reilly proved this yet again, first by taking out his front tooth in the most hockey guy move ever, and then by giving the team’s source of comeback inspiration, Laila Anderson, a shoutout in the his acceptance speech.
Laila and the Blues both have fantastic stories of determination and perseverance, and it’s no surprise that the Stanley Cup champions drew on Laila as a source of inspiration in their fairytale comeback.
