All NHL players have different responses to getting traded. Some players are enraged after shockingly being moved, and others embrace the change. For Robin Lehner, his initial reaction was a rather humorous one.
During trade deadline day, Robin Lehner was moved from the Blackhawks to the Golden Knights, with the Toronto Maple Leafs as the middleman. On twitter, Lehner thanked Chicago for his time there and for the support of all the fans.
He then looks forward to Las Vegas, and Lehner is very well aware of the fanfare that surrounds the Golden Knights.
When Alec Martinez was traded to Las Vegas, the team sent out a big welcoming party to the airport to greet Martinez. Cheerleaders, drummers and Chance were all there to welcome in their new defenseman.
Lehner is excited about the move to Las Vegas, but it looks like he’d like to try and lay low.
