Rob Gronkowski is one of the most dominant tight ends to ever play in the NFL.
Through eight seasons with the New England Patriots, Gronkowski has recorded 474 receptions for 7,179 yards and 76 touchdowns and also has two Super Bowl trophies to show for it. While Gronk is only 28-years-old, there's been a lot of chatter about the possibility of the Patriots tight end calling it a career due to the amount of injuries he's sustained over the years.
Following the Patriots' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at Super Bowl LII, Gronkowski was asked about his future in the NFL and here's what he had to say.
“I don’t know how you heard that, but I’m definitely going to look at my future for sure,” Gronkowski told reporters post-game. “I’m going to sit down the next couple of weeks and see where I’m at.”
Gronkowski still hasn't discussed his plans for the near future, but his latest cryptic tweet has a lot of football fans trying to figure out what's up next for the five-time Pro Bowl tight end.
No one except for Rob Gronkowski knows what he was referring to with his tweet, but he was back on Twitter less than 48 hours later with a less cryptic tweet.
Gronkowski has only started all 16 games in a season once, which came back in 2011 when he recorded 90 receptions for 1,327 yards and 17 touchdowns, and he's started just 20 games over the past two seasons.
