The NBA Draft has come and gone, and there were a number of Canadians drafted with RJ Barrett being the biggest name of the bunch. The 19-year-old went third to the New York Knicks as many projected and now the pressure that comes with being a Knick is on his shoulders.
Madison Square Garden hasn't seen playoff basketball since 2013 and Barrett will be one of the players tasked with making the Knicks relevant again. Friday, he was officially introduced to the media and the first question he was asked was the ultimate "Welcome to New York" moment.
We repeat, Barrett hasn't even played a single second in a Knicks jersey and he's already expected to carry the team on his shoulders. That's some out of this world pressure, but we're sure he's ready to handle it with the HELP of his teammates, one of whom was also introduced with him and happens to be Canadian, too. (H/T: Knicks)
