The Montreal Alouettes and the Ottawa REDBLACKS went head-to-head in CFL action on Friday night and both teams came out flying in different ways. While the Als got things done on offence in the first half, the REDBLACKS got their points through DeVonte Dedmon on special teams.
On the very first play after the hosts scored their first touchdown of the game, the CFL rookie got his team right back into it by returning the kick 111 yards for a touchdown.
It’s not very often you see two kicks returned for touchdowns in the same game, especially two from the same player, but Friday night’s game was a special one as Dedmon was at it the very next quarter and his second touchdown was even better.
Dedmon managed to hop and spin away from numerous tackles and made multiple defenders look absolutely silly as he added to his breakout performance in impressive fashion.
