The “Who’s on First” skit is one of the most classic acts of comedy that’s ever graced the baseball world.

The skit was initially performed by Bud Abbott and Lou Costello on the radio in the late 1930’s. The dynamic duo then brought the routine into the film “The Naughty Nineties” in 1945.

To this day, the skit remains hilarious as ever for its creative, yet simple play-on-words concept. It’s even got its own section in the baseball almanac, where you can find the entire script of the exchange.

Over the years there have been numerous spinoffs and sequels, including on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” featuring Billy Crystal and Jerry Seinfeld.

The Boston Red Sox and Bank of America collaborated to do their own rendition of the skit, which features pitchers David Price, Steven Wright and Chris Sale.

The three pitchers come up with a plan on how to endear Sale to the Red Sox faithful, who was acquired from the Chicago White Sox last December.  The trio decides to operate an ice cream truck and have Sale hand out free ice cream to a group of kids. The kids are puzzled as to what the “Price” is for the ice cream, to which the three hurlers inform the kids that it’s actually on “Sale.”

Even if you’re not a fan of the Red Sox, it’s hard not to find this fantastic.
