Rasmus Dahlin is going to Buffalo.
The Swedish defender finally officially got drafted by the Sabres on Friday night ending what was a long anticipated consensus pick. Everybody knew what was going to happen when Gary Bettman took the stage in Dallas to announce the pick, but that doesn’t necessarily take away the emotions that result.
Luckily for us that weren’t there Dahlin was mic’d up. This allows the viewer at home to get a better sense of what it was really like in the moment his name was called and he made his way up to the stage.
Nothing like some good old fashion emotion to stir up your Sunday night. Dahlin joins Jack Eichel in what Buffalo fans hope will be a rejuvenated Sabres roster.
