There are a LOT of massive free agency dominos teams and fans are anxiously awaiting to fall, but perhaps the biggest is Kawhi Leonard.  The two-time Finals MVP that helped deliver an NBA title to Toronto for the first time ever declined his player option with the club and is set to become a free agent, which everyone expected.

What we didn't expect, though, was for the Raptors to be the frontrunners to sign Leonard after the season.  Toronto doesn't exactly have a rich history of attracting superstar players through free agency and former Raptor Lou Williams shed some light on why that is and what it's like being an American playing for Toronto.

Before every single Canadian gets upset over this quote, or shuts it down as being false, it's important to remember that you can't possibly relate to what Williams is saying.

Things we think wouldn't be a big deal like channels, phone bills, bank accounts, and even setting your children up in a school here can clearly be a big deal to NBA players.  Further to that, Williams' comparison of playing in Canada being similar to playing overseas is one that others feel is fair as well.

As Jared Dudley pointed out, the major difference now is the Raptors are NBA champions and with the landscape of the league being so uncertain next season due to injuries and free agency, staying might be Kawhi's best option.

That said, there are other intriguing options out there, one of which is Leonard joining Williams in Los Angeles.
