For the first time since 1970, the St. Louis Blues will be playing in the Stanley Cup Final. Tuesday night, the Blues finished off their series with the Sharks with a 5-1 victory in Game 6 to advance to hockey's promised land.
The Blues' incredible run to the Final has been filled with wonderful moments like Jaden Schwartz's hat trick against the Jets in the first round, St. Louis native Patrick Maroon scoring in overtime to send his team to the Conference Final, and 'Gloria' (GLORIA).
There was another moment, though, that happened off the ice that warmed the hearts of hockey fans everywhere and that was Blues superfan Laila Anderson who suffers from HLH being surprised with tickets to a playoff game.
After the Blues advanced to the Cup Final, Maroon shared a special moment with Laila that will warm your heart.
All the feels. If the Blues win the Cup, you can bet Laila will be part of the celebration!
