Artemi Panarin has been at the centre of trade rumours this offseason and whether it was intentional or not, he sparked more trade rumours with his latest Instagram video.
It seems like a harmless video on the surface. Panarin is simply showing off his stick handling skills wearing a Russia jersey while in Russia. The jersey choice, however, was what got fans talking in the comments section.
Apparently something as simple as practicing in a jersey that's not one of your NHL team can stir fans up.
That said, Panarin did give the Blue Jackets a deadline for all off-ice discussions, so the clock is ticking in regards to getting a long-term deal done.
