Pro athletes are larger than life and people all over the world look up to them as heroes.
When athletes go out of their way to make a fan's day with an act of kindness like giving them their hockey stick, for example, it warms our heart because we know that's a moment those fans will never forget.
During the Capitals' latest road trip in Canada, Alex Ovechkin was the player that made this young Washington fan in a wheelchair incredibly happy by giving the fan his stick as he was walking onto the ice.
Those moments are what sports are all about and this wasn't the only stick Ovi gave out to a fan in Calgary.
Hats off to Ovi for giving these fans a moment they'll remember forever.
