Football players are some of the most athletic specimen in the sports world, and New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. might just sit atop that list.
He’s showed off his footy skills with Bayern Munich, displayed his power behind the plate by belting dingers out of Tropicana Stadium, and showed off his dunking prowess out on the hardwood.
We know how capable he is at making incredible one-handed catches out on the gridiron, but what about actually throwing footballs?
Well, if the Giants are serious about finding a new quarterback for life after Eli, they could just look down their WR depth chart after seeing this video.
At his annual youth football camp, Beckham showed off his latest display of athleticism by launching a ball down field into oblivion.
We should prefix this by saying that, yes, he gets a massive running start, and very well could’ve been using a smaller children’s-sized ball. But, regardless, not every person can send a ball down field 80 yards like OBJ does here.
You feel that, Eli? That’s Odell breathing down your neck.
Check out all the kids sporting the same hairdo as Beckham in camp.
He then reverted back to himself, showing the young fans and spectators his signature one hand catch.
The 25-year-old is about to enter the final year of his five-year rookie contract, and is seeking a big pay day. He’s slated to make $8.5 million this upcoming season, and will be in Giants training camp despite the New York Post reporting that the star receiver will hold out.
