Kawhi Leonard's monumental game-winning basket to eliminate the Philadelphia 76ers is still fresh on the minds of basketball fans and those involved with the Toronto Raptors, so much so that head coach Nick Nurse got a little confused when signing off from his presser on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking with reporters before departing to Milwaukee, the Raptors bench boss temporarily forgot that the team was no longer heading to Philadelphia anymore, but rather Milwaukee to face the Bucs in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals.
"See you in Philly," said Nurse to the slew of beat reporters at the OVO Athletic Centre.
The astute group of reporters quickly pointed out Nurse's mixup, to which the coach then returned to the mic and jokingly blamed his concierge at his hotel for instilling it into his head.
Game 3 goes Wednesday night in Milwaukee at 8:30 pm ET/5:30 pm PT.
