The Rams return to Los Angeles is just in its second year and already fans are noticing attendance problems on opening day.

Last year wasn’t much better for the Rams as they had the worst attendance percentage in the league (80%) and the second worst overall attendance. Now, they’ve added a second team to the city and the stadium has a shocking amount of empty seats.

Sports fans don’t miss much online, so many of them have already started to mock the team for their attendance.

The Chargers won’t play in the same stadium as the Rams and have their debut in Los Angeles tomorrow night. On a Monday night game, they will likely avoid this type of embarrassment, but in the long term both teams will clearly need to remain competitive to draw some fans into the stands. The Rams have played well today though and the official attendance numbers are slightly better than they appear.

Chargers are used to getting mocked though, as they suffered relentless jokes from the sports world when they changed their logo in the offseason.
