The CFL is going to have a new official outfitter starting in 2019.
On Wednesday, the league announced that New Era Cap will be the official outfitter of the CFL and will be providing all on-field product for every team.
When we say all on-field product, we mean all on-filed product, not just hats which New Era is obviously most known for.
For the first time in the company's history, New Era Cap will be making uniforms and sideline gear along with headwear, as per Dave Heimburg, Vice President & General Manager North America, New Era Apparel.
“This is the first time New Era Cap will charge onto the football field providing uniforms and sideline apparel in addition to our line of fan gear and headwear that blends sports with lifestyle. We’re very happy to be taking this bold step to help the CFL put a unique stamp on their apparel and uniforms that excites their growing fanbase.”
We're very excited to see what New Era comes up with as far as the jerseys go for the 2019 season!
