The NBA 2K team revealed the new All-Decade teams that will be featured in NBA 2K20 on Tuesday, and they followed up that announcement by sharing the six new Classic squads that will be included in this year’s edition of the game on Wednesday afternoon.
Led by LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers went 57-25 in 2015-16 and captured their first and only NBA title in franchise history that season, losing just seven games the entire playoffs.
The 2013-14 San Antonio Spurs won an NBA-best 62 games and was full of future Hall of Famers including Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, and also featured a young Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.
There was a lot of hype surrounding the 2013-14 Los Angeles Clippers and many basketball fans thought that was finally going to be their year, as they won 57 regular season games and had the best offensive rating during the year, but they ended up losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the playoffs.
The 2009-10 Portland Trail Blazers were one of the toughest teams to play against because of the lack of points they gave up, but they ended up losing to the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs.
The 2006-07 Washington Wizards lineup wasn’t full of future Hall of Famers or superstars, but the Gilbert Arenas-led offence was one of the most entertaining to watch in the NBA that season.
Last and certainly not least are the 2002-03 Phoenix Suns. While this was before the Steve Nash days, the Suns were still a force on both ends of the court and weren’t a team to mess with since they had guys like Amar’e Stoudemire and Stephon Marbury on their roster.
Which team are you rolling with?
