The NBA community was hit with a bomb early Wednesday morning as the Toronto Raptors traded DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a 2019 protected first round draft pick to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green.
Plenty of jersey swaps were made to showcase the two stars in their new threads, including one from the creators of NBA 2K19, who also revealed the DeRozan’s rating in the upcoming release.
Aside from the new threads there isn’t much of a change to DeRozan’s game in the upcoming NBA 2K release as the newest member of the Spurs is ranked 89 overall for the second straight year.
DeRozan is tied for second with Jimmy Butler and Klay Thompson as the highest rated shooting guards in the game, while Leonard is expected to have an overall rating of 95, which would be the third highest among small forwards and fifth highest in the entire game.
