NBA 2K unveils Giannis Antetokounmpo as cover athlete with incredible trailer narrated by his mother

Last month the NBA 2K creators unveiled that LeBron James will grace the cover of the video game for the second time in his career as he’ll be featured on the 20th Anniversary Edition of NBA 2K19. On Monday, the creators were at it again as they revealed there will be another cover athlete gracing the cover of the standard edition of NBA 2K19 and it’s going to be Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Greek Freak’s cover will look a little similar to LeBron’s as it will feature different keywords behind his image like ‘6 steps’, ‘Athens’ and the names of his brothers.

The creators also went all in with the announcement as they put together this incredible promo that is narrated by his mother, Veronica Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo has come a long way since he first entered the league and should feel very proud for his recent achievement.
