Milan Hejduk spent his entire 14-year NHL career as a member of the Colorado Avalanche and is currently working as a head coach for a Colorado Thunderbirds hockey team. Although he’s called Colorado home since 1998, it appears the 42-year-old might be making a change as he recently put his $5.2 million mansion in Parker, Colorado, up for sale.

Earlier this month, Hejduk’s home was put on the market and it looks like paradise for any hockey fan. The 16,873-square-foot home includes six bedrooms and five bathrooms, on top of many other things, but the coolest part of the house has to be the indoor ice rink.

Of course, you can’t have an indoor hockey rink without a Zamboni, so you can bet there’s one included in the deal. There’s also a custom clubhouse that sits right next to the rink.

If you’re not a hockey fan but are still interested in the property – and you happen to have $5.2 million to spare – the indoor rink can be transformed into a full-sized tennis court, soccer field, or can also be used for boat, RV or bus storage.

The house also includes seven fireplaces, a master suite with a view of the mountains, a hot tub off the master bedroom, a home gym with a wet bar, a top of the line kitchen, parking spaces for five vehicles, a covered patio and 2.25 acres of land.

Although the house is for sale, Hejduk doesn’t plan on leaving Colorado he just wants to take advantage of the market, especially with his twin sons expected to start their junior careers in less than two years.

“No, no. We’re just trying to take advantage of the market here (and) who knows what’s going to happen with the boys,” Hejduk said on the Denver Post’s hockey podcast “Traffic in Front of the Net” earlier this week.
