The Edmonton Eskimos and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers kicked off the 2018 CFL season at Investors Group Field in Winnipeg and the 2017 CFL Most Outstanding Player got the season started on a high note.
On the Eskimos’ first play on their second series of the game, Mike Reilly and Derel Walker reminded the league about their incredible chemistry as they connected on a massive 101-yard touchdown for the first score of the season.
Walker got some serious air to come down with the pass, but once he had the ball in his hands he was home free as he took the ball another 49 yards after the catch to give the Eskimos an early lead and first points of the season.
