Yeah, yeah, yeah…. “It’s preseason.”

Just because the wins and losses don’t count, and the defence may not be quite as robust as during the season, doesn’t mean there can’t be impressive plays. On Monday, it was New Orleans Saints wide receiver Marquez Callaway that had everyone picking their jaws up off the floor in 1st quarter action vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The first TD grab came on a 43-yard bomb in which Saints QB Jameis Winston bombed one into the end zone from the logo.

 

 

If that wasn’t impressive enough, Winston found Callaway again a little later in the frame. This catch was even more impressive.

 

 

With Michael Thomas beginning the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list, there is tons of opportunity in the Saints potent offence for pass catchers. Callaway seems to be making the most of those opportunities so far.
