On Monday, Marcus Johansson of the New Jersey Devils was back at practice and it was a welcome sight to say the least considering he hasn't played since January 23rd when he took an elbow to the head from Brad Marchand.
The Bruins forward was suspended five games for elbowing and on Tuesday, he responded to Johansson's comments about him and the hit.
In case you missed it, here's what Johansson had to say about Marchand and the hit that injured him.
As Marchand said, we hope to see Johansson on the ice soon, whether that be before the playoffs or in the playoffs if the Devils make it.
It's also interesting to note that if the Bruins finish first in the Atlantic (which is becoming a real possibility) and the Devils take the second wildcard spot, the two teams would face each other in the first round.
