Brad Marchand is certainly… er… unique. His mixture of speed and skill make him a threat in the offensive zone, and pair that with his uncanny effectiveness in getting under his opponent’s skin and you’ve got a very special, very frustrating player.
On Friday, Marchand’s creative agitation techniques came back out when he decided to give Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Callahan a little lick on the cheek. While it may be annoying for Callahan, you’d have to think it’s also pretty gross for Marchand. There is a 0% chance he didn’t get tongue full of sweat as a result.
This is the next chapter of what has become a series of strange moments from the Bruins forward.
