You can’t help but feel happy for Montreal Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin.
The animated GM has received his share of heat over the years, but now he’s heading to the Stanley Cup Final and he looks like a genius (and a total stud with that long flow!). Bergevin is the definition of a ‘player’s GM’ and you could feel his excitement after his squad punched its ticket to the Big Dance. NO ONE was happier than the 55-year-old after the goal.
You love to see it, and you better believe the guy was at ice level after the game to celebrate with his guys!
Remember when Bergevin traded P.K. Subban for Shea Weber and got roasted? Or when he handed Carey Price a monstrous contract to stay in Montreal? Well, it’s all paying off now. Congrats to Bergy and the Habs!
