This weekend, Marvel's 'Black Panther' became the second-fastest grosser of all-time, with the film eclipsing the $400 million (USD ) mark. The film has become a cultural phenomenon, and it looks like its popularity has spilled over into the world of sports.
Sunday, Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard celebrated his game-winning goal against Chelsea by giving a salute to the people of Wakanda, delivering the signature crossed-arm chest bump.
Lingard has been known to keep things quite topical with his goal celebrations, having been one of the first players to use 'the dab,' and play the pan flute following the release of Future's pan flute filled self-titled album last year.
For those unfamiliar with the move from Wakanda, first, what's taken you so long? And second, here's an example of it from the film's lead star, Chadwick Boseman.
