We’re just two days away from Super Bowl 54, but the virtual world already has its champion picked.

Madden ran its annual Super Bowl simulator and predicted a high-scoring affair between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. In the end, the electronic gods chose the Chiefs to prevail in a 35-31 thriller. They predict Tyronn Mathiau will pick off Jimmy G and Patrick Mahomes will earn MVP honours.

We can only hope for a game with this kind of action, regardless of who wins!

@eamaddennfl’s simulator picked its winner 👀. Do you agree? 🤔

Let’s be mindful that the 49ers had the number one passing defence in the NFL throughout the regular season. SF surrendered more than 30 points in a game just twice this season and haven’t done so since Week 16 against the Rams.

The 49ers are off to Miami after defeating the Packers 37-20!

If it’s any consolation for Niners fans, EA has gotten three out of the last four Super Bowls wrong. They did, however, manage to perfectly predict the outcome from SB 49.
