LeBron James did what everyone expected him to do as he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night. However, just because everyone thought it was going to happen that doesn’t mean the official announcement didn’t shock the basketball world.
While everyone in Cleveland probably feels betrayed once again, Lakers fans across the globe are ecstatic about the fact that one of the greatest players of all-time is joining their team. On Monday morning, the Los Angeles Times welcomed LeBron to LA with this awesome artwork and headline in the sports section of the paper.
The Lakers just got a lot better and the West just got much tougher, but Lakers fans have all the confidence in the world now that King James has arrived.
