The Tampa Bay Lightning have been nearly unstoppable through the first quarter of the 2017-18 NHL season.
Through 19 games, the Lightning own a 15-2-2 record and have scored a league-high 77 goals and own a league-best +30 goal differential.
Not only has the entire team stepped up early on in the season with nine players already in double-digit scoring, but they also have the league leaders in goals (Nikita Kucherov), assists (Steven Stamkos), and wins (Andrei Vasilevskiy).
After coming up with a huge 6-1 victory over the Dallas Stars at home on Thursday night, the team got an off-day on Friday and some of the players used their free time to learn a few things from Harlem Globetrotter Hoops Green.
Hoops was the Bolts Social captain for Thursday night’s game and got to teach J.T. Brown, Mikhail Sergachev, Nikita Kucherov, Vladislav Namestnikov and Andrei Vasilevskiy some tricks on Friday afternoon.
Not a bad way to spend your day off.
