After 20 years in the AHL, the former team based out of St Johnβs is moving their business over to the ECHL.
The move is becoming more and more popular amongst former AHL clubs, as this is the 9th such occurrence. The newest ECHL franchise unveiled their new colours, name, and logo on Tuesday morning.
Introducing the Newfoundland Growlers.
The Growlers are set to kick off their season against the Florida Everblades on October 12, 2018, and fans are very excited with the new look.
