Canadian fans of the JUCO football documentary Last Chance U might have noticed a couple of familiar names on CFL negotiation lists when those were announced back in December.
Well, the Toronto Argonauts got their guy. Defensive tackle Ronald Ollie, who went to training camp with the Oakland Raiders and was a fan favourite from the documentary's first season at East Mississippi, has signed with the Argos.
Dakota Allen is the other Last Chance U alum appearing on a CFL team’s negotiation list (Edmonton Eskimos), but he remains under contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars and it remains to be seen if there is any momentum towards a CFL deal.
