When basketball fans think of Lance Stephenson, the first thing that comes to mind is the time he blew into LeBron James’ ear during Game 5 of the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals.
It’s been nearly three-and-a-half years since that moment, but it still lives on as if it happened yesterday.
The Indiana Pacers and the Cleveland Cavaliers are meeting for the first time this season in Cleveland on Wednesday night and you can bet Stephenson will do whatever it takes to throw James off his game. Midway through the second quarter, James was driving to the basket and that’s when Stephenson got a shot in.
Only Stephenson knows if the shot to LeBron’s groin was accidental or not, but the referees gave him a flagrant 1 foul for the shot.
