LaMarcus Aldridge spent nine seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers before he eventually joined the San Antonio Spurs, and itβs safe to say he feels right at home with the Spurs.
The Dallas, Texas native saw his stats take a bit of a dive in his first two seasons in San Antonio, but over the past two seasons he looked like his former self and earned a new contract with the Spurs. On Friday, the 33-year-old spent some time in the community giving back to the young fans who have supported him over the years and more than 200 kids received an incredible gift from the 7-time NBA All-Star.
Aldridge made some time on Friday to surprise more than 200 kids part of the Boys & Girls Club of San Antonio with backpacks and school supplies, but he decided to add a personal touch to all of the gift bags by adding iPads to every single one of them.
It was already a treat for the kids to get to meet Aldridge and it was even sweeter that he came fully loaded with iPads for everyone.
