Itโs been a season to forget so far for both the Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils as they find themselves at the bottom of their conference standings heading into Thursday nightโs matchup against each other in LA.
Looking to turn things around before itโs too late, the Kings hit the ice in a one-of-a-kind jersey on Thursday as they showed some love to one of the teams they share the Staples Center with in the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Kings have rocked purple and gold in the past and have even brought back their throwback jerseys over the years, but this purple and gold was unlike any of their jerseys from the past as they included the special Lakers touch.
They wonโt be wearing the jerseys when puck drop rolls around, but itโs always nice to see sports franchises show some love for other teams within the city.
