The Los Angeles Kings went into Tuesday night’s contest against the Winnipeg Jets looking to end a four-game losing skid and when the hosts took to the ice for the pre-game warm-ups they looked a little different than usual.

As part of the team’s Los Angeles Chargers Night, the Kings swapped their regular silver and black for the Chargers’ powder blue and gold as they hit the ice in football inspired uniforms.
 

While it’s been a season to forget so far for the Los Angeles Kings, who entered the contest sitting dead last in the entire league, but they’re hoping some of the positivity surrounding the Chargers can rub off onto them for the remainder of the year.

On top of the one-of-a-kind jerseys, former NFL defensive end Marcellus Wiley was in attendance to drop the puck for the ceremonial faceoff.
 

This is the second time this season the Kings have shown another Los Angeles based team some love as earlier this month they hit the ice in Los Angeles Lakers inspired uniforms.
