When a host city wins their Olympic bid, a lot of decisions suddenly must be made. One of the most important decisions is choosing how the Games will be branded, and the most front-facing facet of the brand begins with designing a logo.
The logo is how the Games will be promoted, depicted, and remembered. With so much at stake, entire committees go to work to in hopes of nailing it with the perfect logo. For the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games, the organizing team has decided to go a different direction.
LA28 announced that their logo would be an interactive one, with interchangeable designs that fans, celebrities, former athletes, or just about anyone else could create. While their main logo will still feature the angel, the diversity-inspired logo will feature a black L, and 28 in black as well. The A is for you to decide.
