Hey Raptors fans, remember 2019?

The crowds were huge, the hype was real, and it felt like the entire country of Canada was behind the Toronto Raptors. From the first round of the playoffs, to the Championship series, to the madness of the parade, the entire run felt like it was out of our wildest sports fairy tale dreams. ‘We the North’ became a rally cry for an entire nation, and the Raptors were the NBA Champions.

What a time to be alive.

Then, it ended.

What nobody ever tells you about your team winning the Championship is how brief the moment of glory feels when you spend your whole life waiting for it. Also, no one ever mentioned that Kawhi was actually going to leave, which was a little added salt in the Championship hangover wound for Raptors fans.

But hey, we’ll always have the memories! One of the most iconic parts of the whole celebration was the thrill of the parade. The city of Toronto was packed to the brim with fans wanting to show their appreciation for the squad, and the day will go down as one of the most memorable in the city’s history. No one knows this more than Raptors’ face of the franchise Kyle Lowry, whose NFT collection goes on sale tonight – and guess what the theme is.

The entire collection is meant to be a ‘gift to his fans’, and show what parade day looked like from his perspective.

The pieces will go live for auction today at 6:30 PM ET, and were designed by Toronto artist Corbin Portillo.

The whole collection is definitely a trip down memory lane for Raptor fans! Shout out to Kyle for his dedication to the franchise and the city that’s always clear, but especially with this project.
