The Golden State Warriors have faced more adversity this month than they've ever faced since signing Kevin Durant. Between the Draymond Green and Kevin Durant situation and injuries, it's been a tough month for the Warriors.
The best teams rise up in the face of adversity, though, and the Warriors have won three-straight games with the latest coming Monday night over the Magic. After the game, Klay Thompson was asked about the team's next opponent, the Toronto Raptors, and he had some high praise in the form of possible prediction.
Could you imagine a Raptors and Warriors NBA Finals? It's not an outlandish prediction, especially with LeBron James out of the East and Kawhi Leonard now leading the charge for the Raptors.
Still, there's some skepticism among Raptors fans (and basketball fans in general) based on past failures and the only way to eliminate that skepticism is to beat the best teams in the NBA.
The Warriors have been basketball's best team for a long time now and if the Raptors were to get a win over Golden State, it would be their first since March 2nd of 2014.
