Kingston Frontenacs will wear special edition Tragically Hip jerseys

The Tragically Hip are from Kingston and have been a big part of the hockey community, so it’s only fitting that with everything going on with Gord Downie, the city’s hockey team, the Kingston Frontenacs do something special.

The Tragically Hip are from Kingston and have been a big part of the hockey community, so it’s only fitting that with everything going on with Gord Downie, the city’s hockey team, the Kingston Frontenacs do something special.

On January 28, the Frontenacs will honour The Tragically Hip with a special jersey and game night.

They play the Mississauga Steelheads in Kingston and they will auction the jerseys off after the game, with all proceeds going to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer through Sunnybrook Hospital. Here are the jerseys they’ll be sporting.
