American singer and songwriter Khalid dropped his debut album ‘American Teen’ earlier this year and it climbed as high as No. 4 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums list.
From the release of his debut album to selling out shows on a nightly basis to getting nominated for five Grammy awards, 2017 has been an incredible year for the 19-year-old musician and he added another first to his growing list on Friday night.
Khalid took part in many community initiatives during the day on Friday and decided to spend his night at his first-ever hockey game as he watched the Vegas Golden Knights take on the Nashville Predators.
The Fort Stewart, Georgia native didn’t know what to expect at his very first hockey game, but the Preds faithful made sure to give a warm welcoming and made him feel right at home.
Khalid ended up choosing a pretty good game to attend as he got to witness P.K. and Malcolm Subban play against each other for the first time in their careers, he got to take part in James Neal’s welcome back standing ovation, and got to witness just about everything possible from a miraculous comeback to a lengthy shootout.
