Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals was one to forget for the Toronto Raptors.
After getting outscored 32-17 in the fourth quarter and falling 108-100 in Game 1 to the Bucks, the Raptors got thumped by 22 points in a 125-103 loss on Friday night. The defeat marked the most points allowed by the Raptors this postseason but once again, star forward Kawhi Leonard managed to stack the score sheet. For the ninth time in 14 playoffs games, Leonard eclipsed 30 points (31) to go along with 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Still, the 27-year-old didn’t appear to be up for much chatter after the game and was very short with his post-game comments.
He does raise a pretty good point… Seriously, what a fun guy.
Kawhi’s had some pretty memorable moments from the 2019 postseason so far. Though he’s generally known as one of the quieter players in the league, the Los Angeles native occasionally gives basketball fans some pretty great soundbites.
Leonard will look to right the ship as the Raptors head back to Toronto for Game 3 on Sunday. Kawhi, Game of Thrones finale, is there even a better way possible to spend your evening?!
