The Toronto Raptors opened up their 2018-19 NBA regular season at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday night and it was a new start for a few people on Toronto’s side.
While Nick Nurse made was making his NBA head coaching debut, Danny Green and Kawhi Leonard were making their Toronto Raptors regular season debuts and the latter got a massive standing ovation when he was introduced for the very first time.
While the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year already appeared in a Raptors uniform during the preseason, it’s the real deal now and fans made sure to give him a very warm welcome in Toronto.
It didn't take him very long to get on the board, either, and it's something Raptors fans will certainly get used to.
