Kawhi Leonard is known for his quiet demeanor, he’s not usually one to draw attention to himself on purpose. Of course, being the caliber of player that he is, he’s going to get a lot of attention regardless.
Lately, we’ve been seeing more and more of his fun side. Turns out he wasn’t lying when he said he’s a fun guy!
One endearing story that emerged during the playoffs was Kawhi’s unique style of court talk. Apparently he used to use the phrase “Board Man Gets Paid” in regards to his desire to win the battle of rebounds.
Since then, it’s become a phrase that fans use all the time. Kawhi went full send during the parade.
