Juventus FC and the fan base has had a pretty eventful week as they’re fresh off signing a deal with superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Wednesday, the club unveiled their new third kits for the upcoming Serie A campaign and they’re not your typical soccer uniforms. While most Adidas soccer uniforms tend to be made from recycled polyester, Juventus’ new third kit will be made from 100% recycled polyester interlock material that incorporates ocean plastic.
The club’s new kits are ‘carbon’ and ‘shock yellow’ and made entirely out of ocean plastic, which were designed through a partnership with Parley for the Oceans, a non-profit organization that addresses major threats towards our oceans.
Juventus is not the first club to rock a kit made entirely from ocean plastic as Manchester United, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will also rock third kits made from the same material.
