Things are about to get seriously heated in the hockey world up north, specifically between two long-time bitter rivals who are set to square off in the postseason for the first time since 1979.
We’re obviously talking about the Canadiens and Leafs, and resident Habs fan (oh yeah- and or prime minister) Justin Trudeau stirred the pot early with some rather unflattering comments about the Buds… and their fans. Trudeau is just surprised Leafs fans are still hopeful in spring every year and discussed the ‘unthinkable’ possibility of them being in the Cup final.

This, of course, is far from the first time the prime minister has expressed his love the Habs. If you can recall, he joined TradeCentre and we think he has a career in broadcasting when he eventually finishes his term. Maybe at RDS?!
