Brown signed a two-year contract with the Minnesota Wild on July 1st after spending last year split with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Anaheim Ducks.The Duluth, Minnesota, product signed with his hometown club for an average annual value worth $687,500 per season. He played his college hockey at the University of Minnesota Duluth and helped lead the Bulldogs to a national championship in 2011.
A noted gamer, Brown is active on Twitch and is often targeted by his wife, Lexi, for the amount of time he spends playing games like Fortnite.
Brown has decided to combine the best of both worlds for a great cause: he's organizing a Fortnite fundraiser on his Twitch account that'll feature various NHL players.
That's right, you and a friend can go head-to-head in a duo challenge on Xbox. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Hockey Is For Everyone campaign.
All you have to do to enter is retweet the tweet above, and you'll be entered for a chance to be selected into the private party for the two hours.
