Jose Canseco is a big fan of Lonely Island's Netflix special on Oakland Athletics' 'Bash Brothers'

The Lonely Island trio is back with a project that baseball fans will absolutely love.

Titled ‘The Unauthorized Bash Brothers Experience’, the 27-minute Netflix special features Andy Samberg and Akiva Schaffer where they portray Oakland A’s sluggers Mark McGuire and Jose Canseco (AKA the ‘Bash Brothers’). The Netflix special, which is being tabbed as a ‘visual poem’, is directed by Schaffer and Mike Diva and explores what would have happened if the duo created a rap album back in 1988.

Netflix added the special to its streaming service on Wednesday night and has already gotten the full approval by one of the players portrayed in the short film.

Jose Canseco appears to be a big fan of the Netflix special and wants in on a follow up video. As for The Lonely Island, they’ll hit the road this summer on a tour which includes a performance at Bonnaroo.
